Our train trip started a bit early, we were in the taxi at 9 AM. There are no pictures from the train ride as the window next to our seats had a broken seal and there was heavy moisture in between the panes. It was a busy train and no other seats were available. But once we got to York the scenery improved greatly. There was some difficulty getting into the AirBnB and we were left hanging for 45 minutes. All we wanted to do was drop off the luggage and had pre-approval but the host never told the cleaner. Once that was done we took off megangering through the old town. We got a bite at a Chinese restaurant and then later hit the shops for breakfast food and snacks. By the time we got back tot he AirBnB it was clean and we were able to get settled. We had to figure out the many things that a new place requires. Light switches, hot water switches, appliances all have their own peculiarities. We were impressed at the array of restaurants in town and headed out for some dinner. We chose Cut and Craft for dinner and it was very nice. I got some wings and Leslie got a Seafood Tempura. The range of the outfits of the patrons were wearing was huge. At one point Leslie exclaimed Oh My God! That outfit was borderline lingerie.
