There is a farmers market each Saturday in New Farm. We were going to go to the market as well as dropping of my broken camera at the post office so it can get repaired. As we were walking to the New Farm Park there was a light drizzle. As we reached the park it started to rain harder and at one point it let loose and poured. We stood under a very thick cover of trees as the rain had it's time. Eventually it stopped and we walked to the post office which was right next to the supermarket and deli. We got some more items but not too much since we did not have the cart. It was enough that we decided to take the bus two stops closer to the house. We had to wait a bit, but we were happy to as the rain took off again. We met a delightful lady at the bus stop who was bringing flowers to Flower's birthday party. Flower is the cat of her friend so it was a cat's birthday party. She was originally from Vancouver and we had a fine time talking with her. After the bus ride we stayed at the house as the rain continued into the late afternoon.
