Having never seen the Broadway show, Wicked, we decided to see the movie. The grand opening was the day before so we waited to avoid the crowds. Not that there were many folks going to the show at 1:15 in the afternoon anyway. We bought the ticket based on the timing of the show not on the type of ticket available. It turned out that we bought the gold ticket which put us in the fancy theater with reclining seats and waiter service. It was too early to start drinking but that did not stop the couple next to us. The had refills on their sparkling wine. We did start talking to a semi-retired couple Lynn and Arthur. They live in Kangaroo point and we may see them at the Jazz Show on Sunday. Once the show was over we walked down to the store, in the rain, to buy some couscous and butter. Who did we see by the bread isle, Arthur again. New Farm is a small town in that regard.
Lovely flowers on the walk
Christmas colors on these trees
Where is the brush turkey when you need him to cleam up this mess
Lovely how the greenery grows organically from this building
Only 28 seats in the theater
But a full bar and waiter service to the seats
