After breakfast we explored around the grounds. We sat with the folks at the reception desk and talked through our departure. Our original AirSwift flight was scheduled for noon and unfortunately they canceled that flight and re-booked us for an 8:45 flight. That means that we will have to take the 5:30 AM boat shuttle back to the mainland. This gave us a bit of stress for several reasons. First we would have to use the back dock with the narrow pier and floating platform. Secondly we would have to do this in the dark. Lastly the weather forecast was calling for storms at this time and if it is too rough to take the boat, we will miss our flight and at least one day at the next destination. We worked it through and they suggested that we check out later after we had made all of our room charges. We then explored around the grounds until it got too hot. We headed back to our lovely little pool. We packed up our stuff, floated in the pool, enjoyed the Palawan Hornbills foraging around the villa, had lunch and, boom, suddenly it was time to watch the sunset.

Ashy Fronted Bulbul Lifebird #1
Fish in the lagoon
Very beautiful
Looking up at the hike from the previous day
Big seeds
Seeds soaking or just a soft landing?
Mr Snail
A very intricate crab
Very green
With pink pinchers
Tye north side of the bay
The end of this walkway is the spa
Big rocks to get around
What might this be?
The Spa
No massages today
Heading back
It is a nice bay
The long walk back
I took the trail to the sunset point
Hanging onto the big blue rope
Cant get lost with this
Almost to the top and I have to walk the plank
The platform informs the treckker that they have reached the top
Great views from the top
Looking over to the sunrise point
I cant see our villa as it is straight down
Back down for the sunset
The sun is going to be blocked out today
Is that a weasel shaped cloud?
Maybe it is a cat with a laser beam eyes
Or maybe laser beam snot
A fiery ball of gas
The sun sets on our last night in Cauayan Island
What a great place!
