We celebrated this day with a walk, a library visit, an extended ferry ride and some super chicken soup. The soup is our favorite dish to cook since we can put in anything that we find that is new in whatever region we find ourselves. The first place we stopped what the library. I found a book about PNG that is at the city library and will be pulled from the shelves for me to pick up. We investigated the printing situation at the library and will be back. Then we walked through the park and back to the house for lunch. After another rain shower we go on the ferry and rode it to the eastern most ferry terminal. Some school kids got on the ferry, both boys and girls, with their hats and uniforms. They danced round in the rain in the front of the boat, taking selfies. The rain kept falling and we decided soup was the best dinner for us.
