Happy People, Happy Hour

One of the best amenities of the Shangri-La hotel is the happy hour, where we have met several happy people. This evening, we were lucky to meet Phoebe and Anita. They are lovely ladies who work in the Horizon Club in the Taipei Shangri-La. Their smiles brightened our world! The food they offer during happy hour is quite special - truffle and mushroom puff pastries, tuna and masago, all types of cheeses, breads, stuffed mushrooms, shrimp (with the best cocktail sauce I have ever tasted), and lots of sweets. Delicious! We had planned to go to the Shinlin night market this evening, but the rain was too heavy, so we stayed in the Shangri-La. We had grand fun!
