Sunset cruise on the Mekong River

Our boatman took us on a nice sunset cruise on the Mekong River. We saw variety of different boats from tiny speed boats that were going at least 70 miles an hour too long skinny boats that were being paddled up the river maybe going 1 mile an hour. Many dogs were running around they seemed happy. We saw some Chinese workmen drilling into the river for a new bridge. We sae some cargo ships and a village where we went up and saw them doing local handicrafts. Miss Pong helped us relearn the art of haggling.  We brought some beautiful silk pieces and some handmade paper and saw how they make it all.  it was too cloudy for the sunset and we saw a dog getting a bath in the river as we disembarked.  Very fun.
