We left the house at 9:30, took the metro to Copenhagen Station, took a train to Malmo Sweden where we got on the fast train to Linkoping. We were in Linkoping by 3 PM. Having done it successfully we probably could have left Copenhagen later in the morning. We were in new territory in Malmo so we wanted a good buffer zone to figure out where we needed to be. The train ride took us through fields, forests, lakes small and medium sized towns. We brought a picnic lunch to eat on the train. Linkoping was the forth stop so it was an express train to be sure. At Linkoping we headed to the Elite Hotel Storra where we checked in and dropped our bags. We then went to a very nice park just 6 minutes away, the Tradgardsforeningen Park. Lots of flowers and art was found in this park and we spent an hour and a half strolling and bench hopping. Saw a lifebird by chance, a Fieldfare!
