11 September 2025 Paris: Musee Jaquemart Andre

This private museum is located in the mansion of  Eduard Andre (1833-1894) and Nelie Jaquemart (1841-1912) to house the art collection that they had amassed during their lives.  The mansion was completed in 1875 and parts of it were specially designed to contain certain works.  The couple traveled to Italy each year and fully engaged in their collecting while there.  They had one of the greatest collections of Italian art found in France.  There was an additional exhibition of Georges De La Tour a painter from the early 1600's
