Our driver picked us up early, 11:00 instead of 11:30, which was great because there was traffic to deal with. Our hostess, Fanny, was meeting us at 12:00 and we did not want to be late. We drove the ring road for a while till we turned into Paris city. We passed the Arc de Triumph, drove along the Seine and then got to the Palais Royal.
