21 September 2025 Nice: Exploring Our New Neighborhood

We woke up to a bright and sunny day.  There were folks swimming out in the sea along a course.  there were kayakers and boats supporting the swim which had to be a couple of miles of swimming.  We had our tea and or breakfasts and then headed out along the promenade to the Sunday market.  We got various items there including veggies and some herbal teas.  Then we headed to the Monoprix for larger amounts of needed foodstuffs.  We have four folks to carry items so we came home with a good haul.  We got to explore the area na have a better feel for the neighborhood.  We finished up with dinner at a nice Nice cafe.

The promenade stretches out along the Bay of Angels
