This sprawling 2000 acre park was created by Napoleon III in the 1852. It is over two and a half times the size of Central Park. We had our picnic by the lake and we watched a huge number of runners, bike riders and walkers pass by on the trails. While we were snacking we saw a pontoon boat crossing the lake. Intrigued we inspected it closer and then took the boat across the lake. We got a table, had hot tea and a tasty dessert at Le Chalet des Isles. Then we walked over to the Lis Vuitton Foundation's building. This behemoth of a building is quite modern and of course it was closed. No matter, it was pricy to visit so we saved a mint.
