After our massages at the Majestic Inn we drove out to Washington Park on the south west side side of Fidalgo Island. It had a scenic loop road that winds its was through dense old growth forest. At the top of the road there is a lookout point that has spectacular views of the San Juan Islands. We are in the rain shadow of the Olympic Peninsula so it has been all sunshine and smiles for us. There was another free concert and this time it was flugelhornist Dimitri Matheny playing smooth jazz. The write up claims that it is an all star band with some of the most accomplished musicians in the Western US. We really hit the jackpot ion Anacortes with the quality free music. We had worked up an appetite so we went back to the room for snacks. There has been allot of activity preparing for a wedding. As we were snacking we could see the wedding outside our window. A quick dash out to the store took us by some food trucks. I got a glimpse of the word dumplings and so we headed back for an order. Then it was time for another stroll through town for more interesting cutouts and odd items.
