25 July 2022 Toronto: China Town

Monday was a bubble day!  The rain from the previous evening cleaned out all the dust and haze and the skies were crystal clear.  The temperature stayed in the low 70's and it was only a little breezy.  What a perfect setting for our excursion on the 510 Streetcar.  We rode it to the end and then on the way back, we stopped at our pre-determined destinations.  First, Mother's Dumplings for her namesake delights.  hen Icha Tea for some good loose leaf teas and Hua Sheng Supermarket for super deals on vegetables and mushrooms.  Each stop was a success in that we got what we wanted and had fun doing it.  Of course we had to watch the park for a while.  There was much hub bub about a ground hog out in the open.  I felt that the folks should have left this guy alone but several folks were pestering him.  They were trying to feed it, pet it and they gor in close with the cameras.  It is surprising that no one got a bite or a scratch from this wild animal.

Jumping rope is another activity spied from our balcony

Rugby, a new activity for the park

They were not champion quality

Some times you just have to stop and try to feed a groundhog
