Orcas Island offers road after road to explore as they wind along the sea and then the thru big trees and then around another turn. We stopped in at a winery, a farm stand and a few beaches. Our technique is to see if the road is private or not. If it is not private, we drive it to the end. The end may be a beach, a harbor or a gravel road that is private. Lots of smiles and different animals of this easy laid back day

The tides are huge, there are 10 or 12 rungs that show evidence of being underwater
