We always try to get on the water when we visit. The Elliot Bay Cruise was the perfect amount of time for us. It was only an hour but went all along the Seattle waterfront but also in the dry docks and loading dock areas. We saw Navy ships, Coast Guard ships, ferry boats, sailing vessels and lots of boats in the various marinas. Our guide on the microphone told us about the recent painting of the Space Needle for its 60th anniversary. The top is Galaxy Gold, the halo is Re-Entry Red, the tower is Astronaut White and the core is Orbital Olive. Mostly it was smooth sailing and we were alome on bar deck. We saw three different ferries zip on by and rolled in the wake of one of them smooth sailing no more! Weee...Then we hitched a ride with Tim to a Italian Restaurant, Nolita. It was in Ballard which is the next bay along Puget Sound. We had a great dinner and fun spending more time with Tim. There were three types of alcohol served. Weee...again
