We arrived to our pre-arranged meeting location at 9:30. Our pre-arranged driver did not show up till 10! I guess the new baby made him late. Oh well. We were able to make it to Sintra with a minimum of traffic and we wandered about town for a while. On our way to he old town we saw many nice pieces of art. We found a place for tasty sweets and followed the signs uphill to the Sintra Palace. Once we reached a major road Leslie asked about the transfer tickets we already had and the police man said those were only good up on top and that we needed to take the bus. As he told us that, the bus arrived and we squeezed in.
