We pulled out all the stops and hit the town till the early hours. Goncalo and his wife Sofia recommended a beautiful restaurant right on the Tagus River. We met at 8 and had a blast. Of course we got there early as the managers meeting was still going on so we walked around the waterfront a bit. A huge copper kettle, boats on the water, and some fine graffiti. The breeze off of the water was stiff and so when we got inside we had them wheel over a huge flame thrower heating device. Gancalo and Sofia arrived next followed by Omar and Carlos. Soon the wine was flowing and of course we needed to celebrate with a bottle of Veuve Clicquot, just like the fizzy Friday's of old! Small dishes started arriving and we waved off the giant steak. Everyone preferred to get more of the little plates. We ate, drank, talked and laughed ! Great times
