We climbed the 60 steps up to the AirBnB three times before getting all the luggage up. Luckily we had help from the AirBnB agent that met us and gave us the tour. Then a quick walk around the neighborhood took us to a small market in the little square just a few steps away from our place. We started out for the Botanical Gardens but the additional 80 stairs with no lunch made us rethink that plan. Instead we stopped in to an Indian Restaurant and had a delightful lunch. Since we were full, it was a great time to go to a grocery and stock up. El Cortes Ingles was our "go to" megastore in Spain and since they are also in Portugal we vectored directly there. We decided to purchase some drinking glasses that were big enough to actually make a drink in them. The last two places had the smallest drinking glasses ever, three sips and time to refill. Then it was off the the sub-cellar to get to the grocery section. Oh my, the selection! This is why we loved this store in Spain. With several bags of food in tow, we hopped into an Uber and then up the 60 stairs to the fridge. We unloaded everything and called it a night.
