Today the rain was mostly in the morning so we were able to head up the hill to the Botanical Gardens right after lunch. Lucky for us an artist couple, Tara and Sylvain Bongard, were setting out 50 of their pottery pieces within the garden. We passed the couple as they were working and we were wandering. Later as we were leaving we saw the wife and spoke with her for a while. They have a studio in the south of Portugal with a sculpture garden and they are very excited to have their work in Lisbon. We liked it too. The garden was just 220 meters from our place but up some stairs and over a few blocks. A great place for an afternoon stroll even if it did rain a bit on us.
Stay tuned as the Gin Lovers Bar and restaurant is located in this building. We will be going there soon
