Dom Pedro Street is up on a ridge and from this street we could see out over the city and to the water. The bridge above is a sister to the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. Lisbon is reminiscent of San Fran in many ways, the hills, the bay, the history of earthquakes and the beautiful old houses. We were able to see the bridge, the redeemer statue and some of the other hills of Lisbon. We were also able to stop into a pastry shop that has been open since 1839 and get some tasty things.
