We headed over to the Marina Bay Sands at noon after a long sleep. The antibiotics did their magic and we were at the hotel in good form. As we were checking in, they asked us if we had been there before. I said yes and recounted the story about how I was denied entry to the 57th floor bar because I was wearing short pants. That tickled the front desk gal and she gave us early check in to compensate for that past problem. Our room was on the 26th floor and looked over to the garden side with the water beyond. We headed out to get some lunch and it was great to be hungry for the first time in days. Mott 32 was where we went and it was named for the first Chinese convivence store that opened in NYC way back in the 1800's. Zan from Myanmar took care of us and he was an absolute delight. The food was fantastic and we filled our bellies.
