The Tivoli has been in operation since 1843 making it the third longest amusement part in operation in the world. It has an old school charm that is authentic rather than created. We had a blast watching the Danes stroll, snack, run, lounge and giggle their way along the many paths. We had our standard progressive picnic at various benches through the park while enjoying the flowers blooming throughout. We stepped into a shop to poke at the goods and suddenly the place got very crowded. A shower had just started and folks were taking shelter. The rain quickly passed and we continued on in our exploration of the Tivoli. We found where the performance venues are located and since we bought a season pass, we can go and listen to so many different shows.
The quirky begins
So formal!
One of those short lived showers
Domes and spires aplenty
Old India
Floral exuberance
A tall spire
Great balls of blooms
Blackbird
The guls liked to land on these dragonflys
At the edge of the park
Yo ho ho and a windy hair day
Man imitating nature, the flower looks like the tower
More spinning the folks
So delightful
Do not "donut"
The flowers were a great addition to the park
A fountain leading down to the aquarium level
The professional level of swing ride
This looked more like my style
The flags are blowing int he stiff breeze
Stop....and smell the roses
So very large
Colorful
Scented
See your but!
The banner out in the front
We headed across the street to the train station
We needed information about the city bus pass
The train station was cavernous
Nicely accented
Old school for sure
