Less Highway Please! 14 July 2021 Drive to Chicago
As we pull onto Indiana Route 120 we see our lucky Sandhill Crane pair. Big and beautiful and cleanliness oriented. We stuck to Route 120 like a home made Mennonite glue. There were numerous horse and buggy warning signs and lots of horse poo on the shoulder of the road. It took is west for almost two hours before we needed to avoid construction and start hopping from route to route on our way to Chicago. Its a big city with big bridges, big buildings, big parks and big traffic. Google led us to the door so I can't complain.
