Sun, Waves, Beasts and Fun 9 July 2021 Lodi NY
We drove back and saw four deer. The first was in a field munching as fast as he could. Head down bite bite bite, head up for a quick check and then head down again bite bite bite. The next three were a doe and two fawns. They kept a move on and disappeared into the woods. Once we were back lakeside, nature kept giving. I saw a possible loon with a fish in its mouth. We saw the osprey again. There was a swimmer too! 72 degrees isn't too cold but it is far from a warm swim in the lake.
