Big City Big Walkies 14 July 2021 Chicago
We got into our room and immediately started walking around. We checked the location of the Architectural Boar Tour, explored roof top bar options, plotted various locations and settled on the London House Rooftop Bar. Wow did we pick a great location. The London House is right across from the iconic Wrigley Building. We were told that the only options for us were standing room tickets which we were happy to take. I had enough of sitting for a while. However even before we got a drink at the bar, Alex came up to us and said that he had a table for us. He said that anybody with such a classy mustache deserves a table. SO we sat down and had a fine time of it. Champagne, red wine, appetizers and sunny breezes were just what we needed. We loved the people watching, took some pictures for one couple, watched all the dynamics of the staff and the patrons and just had a delightful time. We were getting ready for the boat tour when the weather turned a bit threatening. We walked the two blocks back to the room to wait out the rain.
