4 July 2021 Boothbay Harbor Maine
It all happened here in 2004. Leslie and I had a marathon four day extravaganza wedding celebration. We had 12 hour happy hour at the salt water pool, a lobster bake themed reception under the big tent, multiple late night dance parties in different bungalows and the wedding vows as the finale out in the confluence of the bay and the ocean. We had asked our guests to give us one word that encapsulates their wishes for us. We got 90 some odd words and we used them to make our vows. The final ration was 50/50 donated words to selected words. We had to select words to be able to connect the donated words together into coherent thoughts. When I said odd words I really meant odd. Affinitias, monopodial, frog, poontang and profitability are just a few of the more difficult words to connect. We said our vows again with the help of Dave, Kristine, Ray and Donna. Ray serenaded us with two songs while we dodged a few rain drops and a gust or two on the lawn of the Spruce Point Inn.

Looks like a good spot for a pre-vows happy hour

We saw this group arrive. Each one of them had a box or bag of liquor. It was funny to see them and think this is how we must have looked 17 years ago.
Woo Hoo lets party!
