We got back into the harbor and staked out our spot by the fireworks barge. The fireworks were spectacular and the Captain kept us close to the barge for the entire show. It was the closest I have ever been to a fireworks show. The most special part is how the bursts would spread out over top of us. We were able to see some of the workings of the people on the barge. Several times I saw burning embers make it all the way to the water and I wondered if they might fall on the barge. At one point we saw what appeared to be two lines of fireworks launch out of the water. These lines must have been stretched out from the barge on either side,
