Scotty, our server for happy hour informed us that the Spruce Point Inn was having a selection of Picnic items that we could order for dinner if we wanted to. Leslie and I had not really allotted enough time for a dinner before we were to sail on the Pink Lady II. We overlooked this 17 years ago as well. No problem as the Spruce Point Inn solved this problem even before it materialized. We ordered two Lobster dinners, two half slab rib dinners and two roasted chicken dinners and took all of them back to our place. We were able to eat the yummy food and drink the drinks we want. That also put us closer to the Pink Lady II for our 7 PM fireworks cruise. This is the same boat and we took the same cruise that we did 17 years ago. We stayed inside for the cruise as the top side was already very crowded when we arrived at 6:30. The people slowly came down to the inside area as the topside got colder and windy. We cruised back in as the sun set over the islands.
