19 May 2024 Tokyo: Ikebukuro Jazz Festival Day 2

We have more luggage than we wanted to carry with us on the next two weeks of tourist mode travel.  So we took the biggest bags down tot he Haneda Airport.  We called a Uber-taxi and hit the jackpot when a nice man in a van arrived to drive us there.  He was a native of Brazil and was working as a financial advisor in Japan till covid hit.  Now he is driving and making use of his skill for languages since he speaks nine languages.  He was enjoying the English practice and our 45 minute drive went by in a blink. We talked travel, kids, morality, the structure of letters and how they change over time.  A fun way to spend some time.  After dropping off the bags we took the train back to Ikebukuro.  We had a slight miscue on the train, our first, when the train stopped and they started back in the direction that we had just come.  We got off at the next stop, switched over to another track and we were soon back on track so to speak.  Then it was off to another series of concerts at the jazz fest.  We stayed another couple of hours but when it started to rain we called it a day.
