Mr. Google recommended a place for us to have dinner with a 4.7 out of 5 rating. Figuring out what to expect at Japanese restaurants is not as easy as it seems, so we picked one and went for it. We found the place and went inside. It was crowded around the ground floor and there was no room for us. They told us that there was room upstairs but we could smell the smoke so we turned around. They told us that we could sit on the stools outside and we agreed to that. The folks outside were also allowed to smoke it was much less intrusive to us while we were sitting outside. The specialty of this place was fried bits on sticks. We were lucky enough to be given an English menu. They have menus in many different languages. We ordered the 10 sticks chef's selection, an order of pressed quail sashimi, an order of Daikon radish and a couple of gin sodas. There was a couple who seemed to be deciding weather they want to eat here and we passed them as we went inside. By the time we came back outside they were getting seated and we sat right next to them. Of course we started talking and for the next two hours we shared travel stories back and forth, ate fried bits on sticks and had a grand old time.
