10 years ago we were in Tokyo at this same fish market. However at that time it was a fully functional fish market with a touristy area outside. The market area moved across the bay to a newer cleaner and more efficient location. That has given this area a whole new vibe. We wandered through the 2 block by 2 block market, where there was food, knives, crafts, cooking utensils, veggies and souvenirs for sale. We stopped for a bite and then wandered some more. We bought a few tiny items, but not the wholesale purchase of goodies that we did 10 years ago.
