The gondola to the top of Sulphur Mountain was the scariest one yet. It was the highest, at least 300 feet off of the ground. It swayed the most, even Leslie had to take a pause. It went up to the tallest altitude, 3000 feet from the base to the height of 7500 feet. I am not a huge fan of heights and this one should come with a shot of courage as you enter the cabin. It was worth it, once we reached the top. All the folks said that his was the first sunny day in weeks. We could see for kilometers. The wind was blowing just enough to sap the heat from the bright sun. We ate a delightful dinner at the Sky Bistro, I had four kinds of wild mushrooms and a soft boiled egg arranged like a birds nest, duck wings and a fine plate of pork chops. Yummy! We saw a big horned sheep from our window table. It was eating some snow. Of course there is still snow on the top of this mountain. Once we got back down I took pictures of the restaurant from the base.
