13 June 2022 Straight of Georgia BC: We are in Motion!

All four of us were in a lecture about the the sea mammals that we may encounter on the trip when the Captain came on with an announcement.  Much to our disappointment he said that we would ne be leaving today.  That was some difficult news to take.  We finished the lecture and then went up tp dinner at "The Restaurant".  I thought that I felt the ship vibrate a bit but I just figured that they were warming up the engines.  But then the ambient noise in the dining room got appreciably louder as more and more people realized that we were in motion!  Next thing you know we are toasting the table next to us, clapping and cheering with the rest of the dining room!  A round of whoot hoots for everyone.  we were quickly passing Stanley Island going under the Lions Gate Bridge.  It will be an early start tomorrow as we will be getting to the narrowest part of the inside Passage at 5 AM

This beast snuck out ahead of us
