It is hard to believe that we were in Anchorage a mere 24 hours ago and now we are in Banff Springs in Alberta Canada. Our flight to Vancouver yielded some of the coolest scenery ever. You can't get any cooler than snow capped mountains and glacier after glacier. The flight was 3.5 hours and just stunning views out the window. Then it was a quick night in Vancouver, then up and out at 6:30 AM for out flight to Calgary. The screeners at the luggage scanners were flagging 80% of the bags for closer inspection. My solid deodorant bar was almost confiscated but I was able to argue that it is a safety issue, my stinky pits would be a hazard for everyone in a 50 yard radius. Calgary Airport on the other hand was delightful and our rental car was waiting for us when we arrived. We grabbed some lunch and drove to Banff. A great ride and an incredible little burg.
