Who is stronger than a fort that was destroyed in an earthquake. Who is faster than a disaster 23 years after the fortified Castle was erected. It is Super Polly, that is who. This wrecked fort was built around 1200 CE and it was completely destroyed in an earthquake in 1223. It was never rebuilt. Columns are strewn about, walls have collapsed but interesting enough two arches are still intact 800 years later. We came back to the Archeological site to see some things that we had missed the first time. It was a great jaunt.
