I woke up with the sun again but stayed indoors. I was treated to the sunrise camel train walking by in the distance. Our van ride was scheduled for 12:00 and we were ready a bit early. So we headed down to the big dome to get connection to the wireless. We checked email and whattsapp and all that. I took a walk and saw more cavorting ravens. It was very quiet in the camp and I got to see another new bird the Common Redstart (#6 for wadi rum) . The van was brand new and spotless. The driver stopped almost immediately and got a 5 gallon tin of Olive Oil and stashed in in the van. He said that the Wadi Rum region is renown for great olive oil. Harsh conditions must make for a good oil. We drove on the Kings Road to Petra, the same road that Moses took out of Egypt. We passed the second best view of Petra and stopped at the best view of Petra. It was a WC stop and a shop as well. We got some book marks and I splurged getting some fancy pendants.
