It was a full day of travel to get to Amman Jordan. We got a scare the night earlier when we tried to check in online. The website said ticket problems. We called to the Royal Jordanian and were told the tickets were suspended. Their accents were so thick that we could not be sure. She said she would email us a form that we needed to complete and send back with a copy of my passport. We were then required to wait two hours and call back and see if it worked. Thank god it worked but we were still leery so we got to the airport early. It was a smooth check in and we had a fine time in the lounge. We boarded without issues and landed in Amman around 3 PM. Out driver was waiting and we were in the Grand Hyatt with ease. We saw herds of goats on the side of the highway, bent trees, camels and a wide variety of different vehicles on the highway. The Hyatt was a bit silly as we thought we were getting an upgrade but putting us in a smoking room is no upgrade! So we moved from 106 to 710.
