We woke up to various sounds ... from sparrows in the shutters of my windows to car alarms to trucks unloading. We have been lucky so far with the morning noises not being so bad. It is odd that on a Sunday we both get woken up by the noise. Once we got up and put the kettle on, we discovered that a cruise boat was docked outside the harbor, it is the Silver Moon from the Silver Seas Cruise lines. The Silver moon came after last night's sliver moon and is headed to the Island of Rhodes next. The two tenders were heading to shore and back all day long. We took a 3 mile walk along to the south of our place. The sun was out, the day was warm and the breeze was refreshing. Cyprus gets high marks for late fall visits outside of the Schengen zone.
Hiding behind the palm tree
As if levitating
A sheltered cove
And even more sheltered area
Two tenders passing in the day
A very dedicated selfie taker
The top of this hotel looked more appealing from far away
From this distance the top of the hotel appears to be some sort of shrine to Aphrodite
Still hanging out
Deep orange
Not a cloud in the sky
Lit up like a party
The cruise ship is illuminated
More moon tonight
It has been 1 year and 195 days since we began our migration
