We headed off to dinner, barely. I say that because we had purchased 1 liter bottles of gin at the duty free shop and the first bottle we got was 48%. That may explain the level of inebriation that we had been able to achieve. Or perhaps it was mixing drinks in a smaller glass and the ratios got all wrong. Regardless we got down to the big dome for our dinner. There was a big show before the food was served as they had to dig it up out of the ground where it had been cooking. We watched the big reveal and enjoyed it immensely. The food was over the top good and there were two birthday's that were being celebrated. They do a big noisy production when bringing out the cake. We met one of the folks whose birthday it was and he asked if we had gotten any video. We did, we shared it with them on whatsapp and then talked to them for some length. They live in Delhi and are traveling with their three sons. It turned out that two of their sons who were twins also were celebrating their birthdays too!
Our fancy lamps
The long walk to dinner
Getting closer
The rocks were all lit up
A big introduction, and the surprise
Out dinner is under the mound of earth
Can you dig it?
Four folks watching and one working
Our tasty dinner is about to be uncovered
Back to the big dome
The size of this dome is huge
A line of folks at the buffet line
A great big tasty dinner
Deepti and Abhi, one of the three birthday boys!
Back in the room full and still a bit tipsy
The moon is lighting up the entire camp
Cars off in the distance
Where are they going?
