We had a slow start this morning, as not everyone got a good nights sleep. The first night in a new place seems to have this effect. It is understandable, we just came over from North America two days ago and we have been traveling for 841 days straight (that is 2 years and 100 days). Luckily the Cuskinny Marsh was only a five minute drive. It is a large marsh that has built up behind the coastal road's raised embankment. We were able to see 15 different species in a short amount of time. Then we returned to Cobh and went into the cathedral. This house or worship is very large for such a small town of 10,000 folks. We walked around town some more and braved the wind. Then it was time for a snack.
