After dinner we thought we were in for the night but Laura said, "the Roaring Donkey is only three buildings away, lets go look". We headed over and did more than look! There was a local band playing the oldies with traditional Irish instruments. Two acoustic guitars, two accordions, two Irish whistles and a fiddle were played by different band members. They played crowd favorites, The Boxer, Folsom Prison Blues, Take me Home Country Road and the like. These songs were sung by the band and the folks surrounding the band. Each song seemed to have a sing along chorus. At first we could only find standing room but later we were invited to sit at a table. These folks were in another band that will play at this pub on Sunday. Whoot to the Hoot!
