The Uffizi Museum is consistently mentioned in listings of the best museums in the world. Our first trip to Florence was on a Monday and the Uffizi was closed so we made a beeline to it on this visit. We had to find the entrance, get in the correct line and then we were in. It is a big building built in a U-shape with galleries and art all along the way. We breezed in and attached our art looking eyes ready to see works by Botticelli, da Vinci, Michelangelo, Rembrant and more. We wandered along blissfully through the entire building,
A long hall to get in. On the left is the 1:30 and the line on the right is on the right.

More trouble on the bus rout on the way home...a pro-Palestinian protest
Thank goodness for this couple on the bus. They shepherded up to the right bust stop once the bus diverted from the prescribed route. We had to drive in the opposite direction for a while and we were ready to get out and walk, but he shouted out to the driver and determined what stop would be closest for us.
