The receptionist gave us a map and told us how we can go tour the organic gardens and then continue on to where the Inca ruins are. The Inca ruins lie on the corner of the town and so we headed out. The gardens were very extensive and we had a great time looking through everything. They grow the majority of their vegetables for the restaurant in this Garden. There are numerous flowering vegetables as well as ornamental flowers. It was hard not taking a thousand pictures. The path was had a tall wall on one side and vegetation on the other,it felt like a tunnel. We had a great time walking along. We decided not to climb up into the Inca ruins at this point in time and instead went into town. We were able to negotiate the uneven walkways and navigate the buses and jeeps all driving by. We got to the Central Square and sat there on a bench and watch the world go by. A few people were in traditional garb. And there was one guy with a clown nose playing with the kids. As the sun went behind a cloud we decided to head back to the hotel. It's a good thing we did because as we got here the cloud got thicker in a misty rain came down off of the mountains. We stopped for a quick snack and a couple glasses of tea and then went back to the room
