Lunch at the dining hut

Before we went out on our afternoon nature excursion, we had a wonderful lunch in the dining hut. Ronnie was the main server, bartender and all around fixer. He was a great guy and I practiced my Spanish while he practiced his English. We had a lovely lunch and we explaied to him some of my dietary restrictions. From then on I had no starches but plenty of extra vegetables, which was great.
Looking from the second floor of the dining hall down to the bar

This treehouse leads from the dining hall second floor with a hanging bridge. When people walk across it the lights in the dining hall sway

The bathroom is only for very muscular man wearing traditional shorts

I left this picture blurry for modesty sake.

The top of the inside of the dining Hut is very intricate. All of these sticks were inter woven some of them straight some of them very curvy. It was a very cool thing to look at

This tree has the high-water mark. It is a quarter mile from the river. When in high water season all the walkways are above the water. Edgar said occasionally a big anaconda would swim through the camp under the walkways.

Happy and hungry

Each dish was artfully prepared and delicious. There are no further pictures as the hunger drive overcame the documentation drive
