We decided to have a fancy dinner at Banyan. It is a Chinese themed restaurant and is very elegant on the inside. The decorations are all exquisite. We met a lovely gentleman named Johan who us originally from Avignon. He is the manager and had just recently got his MBA in the field of Hospitality. He decided to get into the hospitality business so he could travel. He was very happy to get this position in Bora Bora. He's doing a very fine job managing this resturant. We ordered the Love menu. It came with dumplings, spring rolls, soup, and your choice of entre. i got the hot and sour soup and stir fried lobster. Leslie ordered a seafood soup and sweet and sour fish. It was so good I didn't take any pictures. We had a wonderful dinner and the chef came out at the end of dinner to say hi. While we were eating we saw a woman walking into the restaurant and she had a blow out on one of her flip flops. About 10 minutes later a staff member came to the rescue with another pair for her. That is service!
