The flight from Tahiti over to Bora Bora is only about 45 minutes. We wanted to see as much as possible so we took a flight that stopped off at Raiatea island first. This flight fit our schedule better. Even though these islands are relatively close to each other, 173 miles, there are no other islands between them. It really brings home how empty the Pacific is. During this flight we saw only one other tiny Island the whole time. That island was Tetaroa. Of course when we did see islands all the colors and shades of blue were spectacular.
We'll be back to fly you later Mr Air Tahiti Nui
