The archaeological site was located on the property of the In Situ Winery Vina San Esteban. They are a medium sized winery that make 2 and 2.5 million liters and 3.6 million bottles per year. I am intrigued that this is only medium sized winery and not large but it just goes to show how big the wine industry is here in Chile. They produce wines under the NC chew brand as well as private labels. It was interesting for her to tell us about 1 private label which was "Sweet Bitch". They distribute to various places in the US with New Jersey being the largest. We had a lovely guide named Angela. She is a renaissance woman, a singer with a band and also a wine aficionado. There were only six of us on the tour so there were plenty of opportunities for questions. We were able to get to know each other as well. One couple was a local teacher and a friend of hers from Australia. The other was a couple from Santiago, who had just recently visited Miami.
