Up on top

After the zoo we got back on the funicular and went to the top. The sky was beautiful with tiny cotton ball clouds spread out everywhere. There must have been a bike path because we saw several people ride their bikes up and stop for coffee and snacks. We saw dogs and pigeons and other tourists. In addition we saw a school group. They were all together with the exception of a straggler. Two of the kids were sent back to go get the straggler but took longer themselves. We had a couple cups of tea and enjoyed the sights. Then we headed back down the funicular and walked to a tasty lunch.

You can just make out the snow-capped mountains over Leslie's right shoulder

The funicular was going so fast uphill while we were going downhill that this picture is blurry
