Our lunch stop was a short walk from the Eiffel Tower on Rue Cler. It was L'Eclair and ironically we did not have any eclairs while we were there. We did take the opportunity to eyeball all the French fashion styles as they walked past. From the 80 year old lady on her bike shopping for the day to the teens in their Gucci sneakers. We had a great time joking with the waiter and the manager of the restaurant. We were lucky to get our EU Covid vaccine pass so we can frequent the cafe's and the museums. They have checked everywhere we go. I have fish and chips which was more like fish sticks and chips. The best fish sticks ever! Leslie got chicken kabab and Laura got the quinoa spinach salad. Yummy stuff. After lunch we went to a cheese shop, a pastry shop and the best Tea shop ever!
Love the Palm trees
Fancy folks obsessed with their phones
Flower shop next door
Our waiter was ready to dance
Yummy Le Porky Piggy
Six kinds of mushrooms, that is my kind of market
Hmmm, do they have lots of tea?
Oh my! Yes they do!
Sleepy tea
We saw this sigh on the door of the pastry shop. I thought that we were not allowed to bring in fish. Perhaps the smell would ruin all the tasty bits. I was wrong, it is a notice that only 8 people are allowed in at once. No packed like sardines here.
